OVERVIEW

Community.co’s platform is a white-label, multi-tenant platform that hosts online professional communities for qualifying executives. Each branded community is hosted separately and associated with various organizations such as Forbes, Rolling Stone, Newsweek, Kiplinger, Fast Company, and BizWoman.

background

The Expert Panels (EP) feature, essential for user retention in our communities and offers an accessible publishing pathway, was underutilized due to its placement behind the publishing navigation.

The UX/UI redesign aimed to increase the discoverability and engagement of this feature by giving it a more prominent location within the app's navigation. This redesign aimed to make EPs more accessible to our members, particularly new or infrequent visitors, by providing a dedicated section and clear user flows and path for publishing.

outcome

After launching the Expert Panel UX/UI feature redesign, we saw a 16% boost in cross-platform user engagement, and 6% increasing retention by partnering with product owners to revamp product specifications.
